The first fact is that we scan pages instead of reading them because we are in a hurry. The second fact is that users don’t always choose the best option because there are no penalties for making mistakes. The third fact is that users don’t always know how things work but they will find a way to muddle through it.  They muddle through it because it is not important for them to become an expert.
